It's a myth that you need to "clean your data" before you can begin getting value from generative AI.
100% of businesses have opportunities to drive positive ROI in the next 10 days using generative AI. This might sound crazy, but I've seen it in literally every one of my client engagements. You can drive enormous value no matter how messy your data.
Of course, there are certainly some applications of gen AI in your business that will likely benefit from clean data. For example, if a customer is interacting with a chatbot to see if an item is available in-store, you absolutely want clean inventory data it can query.
Have you spent time or treasure "cleaning data", or are you just jumping in? Are there areas where messy data has become a true blocker to value, or have you found ways around it?
