AI Media Intelligence & Proposal Engine for PR Agencies
A PR agency cut manual outreach effort 98% by deploying an AI platform that summarizes news, drafts campaign concepts, and speeds proposals.

The Challenge
The organization needed a faster way to identify relevant media hooks, package insights, and create client-facing deliverables. Traditional research and proposal workflows required manual review across multiple sources and slowed down campaign ideation and sales support.
What They Built
MJV helped build and customize an AI-assisted media intelligence and proposal generation platform. The system used large language models, structured prompting, web research workflows, and custom interfaces to help generate campaign ideas, summarize news relevance, and accelerate PR proposal creation. The platform integrated AI-driven research with human review to keep outputs actionable and brand-safe.
The AI system reduced the amount of manual research and drafting needed to prepare campaign materials. Instead of starting from a blank page, teams worked from AI-generated structures, summaries, and recommendations that accelerated delivery.
MJ Ventures opened the engagement with workflow discovery sessions to understand how the PR team researched media trends, packaged insights, and prepared client-facing deliverables. Mapping that work made it clear which steps could be safely automated and which still needed editorial review. From there the team designed a lightweight AI workflow on Lovable that wraps LLM APIs and a custom prompting system around web research tools. Early outputs were validated with internal users before any client-facing use. The team iterated rapidly on UX, structured outputs, and approval flows so PR operators could see, edit, and ship AI-drafted news summaries, campaign concepts, and proposal content within their existing process rather than alongside it. The hardest part of the build was balancing speed with trustworthiness: PR work requires nuance and accurate context, so fully automated outputs were not always appropriate. Implementation ran in under four weeks of rapid prototyping and refinement, with results visible from launch week — 47 new prospect meetings booked, 98% less manual outreach effort, and a 10% conversion lift in the first month.
AI Role
The AI summarizes news, synthesizes trends, generates draft messaging and campaign concepts, structures proposal content, and supports research workflows.
Infrastructure
Lovable (front-end application platform) • Cloud-hosted application infrastructure • Web research tools and APIs • Custom prompt-engineering and workflow-automation tooling
Integration Points
LLM API calls from the Lovable front end into the prompt-engineering layer • Web research tools feeding source content into the synthesis workflow • Approval-flow handoffs between AI-drafted output and human editorial review
Impact
Reduction in manual effort for outreach
New prospects booked into meetings the first week of launch
Conversion rate improved 10% the first month of launch
Implementation Complexity
MJV started with workflow discovery sessions to understand how the PR team researched trends, packaged insights, and prepared deliverables. We then designed a lightweight AI workflow using LLM APIs, custom prompting systems, and a Lovable-based front end. After validating early outputs with internal users, we iterated on UX, structured outputs, and approval flows. The project was implemented over several weeks with rapid prototyping and ongoing refinement.
Best Fit For
PR agencies, communications firms, political communications teams, executive recruiting firms, and media strategy groups that regularly produce campaign ideas, messaging briefs, or media intelligence summaries.
